Africa Teens Career Festival is the largest career fair on the continent for teenagers aimed at equipping, educating, and training teens with skills to be more. The 2022 edition was in collaboration with the Lagos State Technical College. This festival was attended by over 2000 students. The topics ranging from fashion to real estate, engineering, business and more. A main inclusion for the festival is to get the teens internship in organisations of speakers and partners.
Career Festival 2022 (Lagos)
The inaugural Africa Teens Career Festival took place on March 2nd, 2022, at the vibrant grounds of Government Technical College (GTC), Ikotun. Designed to illuminate the critical teenage years, this festival inspired and guided over 2000 enthusiastic students to unlock their potential and envision a brighter future.
The event featured inspiring talks from a lineup of speakers including Mary Edoro, Kelechi Ekugo, Ayo Akinkunmi, Julian Ojo, Julius Ilori, and Imeh Akpan. Additionally, the festival showcased 12 student innovations, awarding certificates for outstanding performances, and included cultural presentations such as a traditional dance by the school’s cultural dance troupe. The day concluded with gifts and attractions from esteemed partners like MTN Nigeria, TUROG, BellaNaija, Golden Penny, Mecho Autotech, and Learners Corner.
